please don’t answer if you have no clue. it’s on avadirect, i plan to pick it up through a retailer, stores like bestbuy support them apparently. for 3ds max, physics simulations, and games in order of importance
please give an explanation as to why if you think it isn’t, and i’m not saying do i need it, i’m saying if i want that much power, is that a proper price

If I wanna make the next revolution in technology like the next Gameboy, what would I major in?

Duy asked:

After school, I want to be able to help make life easier through technology. So not necessarily the Gameboy, but maybe the next supercomputer, or the robotic arm that can move each finger, or whatever! The next iPod, the next thing in history. What would I major in? Thank you!

building a supercomputer?

phillip24fan asked:

what hardware do i need to build a supercomputer cluster. could i just like pair 4 intel dual socket xeon boards together and how do i pair them like this kid did w/ one called the microwulf?

www.calvin.edu/~adams/research/microwulf/

the guy in the picture is the professor not the kid
basically i’m wondering if you can connect any couple of motherboards via gigabit ethernet and w/ linux get a supercomputer and if it’d work w/ the intel dual socket xeon eATX board
